Text and pictures on the signaller.org wiki are free to reuse, under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 licence (CC BY-SA 4.0), unless a file's page says otherwise.

What you can do

You can copy, share and adapt anything on the wiki, for any purpose, as long as you:

  • credit the page's authors (see below);
  • link to the licence, and say if you changed anything; and
  • share alike: release what you make from it under the same licence.

Crediting a page

Every page has an Authors tab, next to Edit. It lists everyone whose edits are in the version of the page that readers see. Credit them by name, or link to that list, and link to the page. For example:

From Conflicts in the map editor on the signaller.org wiki, by its authors. Available under CC BY-SA 4.0.

What the licence doesn't cover

  • signaller.org itself: its name and logo, and the game, including its software and its official map, which signaller.org's terms of use cover.
  • Stepford County Railway: SCR's names, marks and material, including pictures of the SCR game, belong to their owners. A picture like this says so on its file page.
  • Pictures under another licence: their file page says which.

Adding to the wiki

When you save an edit, you release it under CC BY-SA 4.0, and you are credited by your username in the page's list of authors. Only add:

  • text and pictures you made yourself; or
  • material under a licence that allows it, such as CC BY-SA, CC BY, or the public domain.

Don't copy from other websites, guides or videos unless their licence allows it.

Copying from the Stepford County Railway Wiki

The Stepford County Railway Wiki on Fandom is under CC BY-SA too, so you can copy from it if you credit it. Add this line at the bottom of the page, with the name of the page you copied from in place of Page name (twice in each link):

Parts of this page come from [https://scr.fandom.com/wiki/Page_name Page name] on the Stepford County Railway Wiki, by [https://scr.fandom.com/wiki/Page_name?action=history its contributors], under [https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ CC BY-SA 3.0].

Say where it came from in your edit summary, too.

Pictures

When you upload a picture, say on its file page where it came from. If it isn't your own work under CC BY-SA, say who made it and what licence it is under.
